Splinter Cell Blacklist Wii U trailer goes gadget

Flying remote control drones, viewing feeds from spy cameras, and tagging targets are all just a few touches away in this trailer for the Wii U version of Splinter Cell Blacklist. Take a look at some GamePad gadget integration for the title which was confirmed for Nintendo's system earlier this month.

Splinter Cell Blacklist will launch alongside its PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 versions on August 20 in North America, August 22 in Europe, and August 23 in the U.K. We haven't gotten our hands on the Wii U version yet, but you can check out our general impressions from January if you want to know more about Sam Fisher's un-Ironsidesian return.

If they get this right, it could be the first real third-party killer app for the U. I'm really excited to see it in person now...
