Some of the best ever Christmas movies, remade as five second WarioWare minigames

Christmas movies? Brilliant. Christmas games? Not so much. In fact there barely are any. Christmas NiGHTS basically. Oh, and Robocod, and Santa's Christ,as Capers on the Spectrum. And erm... Yeah, well.

The neatest way to remedy this disparity? Adapt Christmas movies into playable form. The mighty Matthew Castle of our noble sister-magazine NGamer has done just that, and even better, he's done it with WarioWare D.I.Y. What does this mean? I means that you can now enjoy the likes of Home Alone, Die Hard and Gremlins just as nature intended. In five second mini-narratives with low-fi visuals in the style of MS Paint. Enjoy!

I love Christmas Vacation, and honestly think it's one of Chase's best performances. That hit a soft spot for me.

Heh,The things you can do when you master gamemaking in D.I.Y. That was awesome ^_^

I think I know all the movies: Home Alone; Bad Santa; Die Hard; The Snowman; It's A Wonderful Life; Miracle At 34th Street; National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation; Jingle All The Way; Gremlins; Trading Places; Shame there isn't one for The Ref (Shove Pig's head up Connie's ass: Yes or No). Curious as to how you could do a WarioWare with À l'intérieur (a Christmas horror film).

Whoa. I I barely would've recognised any of them if it weren't for you. And I usually pride myself on obscure-ish movie trivia. Pity I hate Christmas...

    Bravo, sir, bravo!

Brilliant! My only criticism: The "Its A Wonderful Life" game wasn't in black and white. I love that film.

Have forgotten the best Christmas game, Elf Bowling?
