Just finished the game like 5 minutes ago, and wow! Great game, 10/10 but unless I missed something here then the game practically ends with a "To Be Continued" sign painted on the screen. I don't like endings like that... at all! So if I reviewed the game I would knock the score down to either 9/10 or 9.5/10 because of that dumbass ending but other than that, the game was simply amazing, showing that you can have a game that streams data off of the disc without the "handicap" of having to install the game. I still consider MGS4 to be a better exclusive overall (aside from those dumbass constant installations), but that could be because I don't have the attention span of a 12 year old. Oh well, to each their own.

@Tygerclaws: ROFL Yugioh the Abridged Series reference ftw! But i thought he returned to the ocean?

@mgkyo666: Yeah, I thought about including Kratos' brother in this. He does have a presence in GoWIII, however minor, but we still don't know much about him other than that he's weaker (and presumably younger) than Kratos, and that he died when he was still a child and grew up in Hades. It also seems unlikely (but not impossible) that he's a son of Zeus, seeing as they aren't generally known for being weak or dying easily. So while he's related to Kratos, that doesn't necessarily mean he's part of the Olympian family tree.

O GOD I COULDN'T STOP READING EVEN THOUGH IT SPOILED GoW III...... I think they left out Chaos....he's like at the very top....

I feel like there should have been a West Virginia joke in there somewhere.

No real story, just a bunch of violence and gore porn....yea, that sounds about right for 99.99% of PS3 exclusives.

Hey Mikel, you're missing one relative! Kratos' Brother! I know how the video in GoW isn't considered canon, but when I beat GoW3 yesterday(That's right!)I noticed that thete were a few vague references to him: 1) In the underworld, there is a note from a man who rants about his brother and how he "became a god" and that he wants his revenge on this brother for "abandoning" him. 2) At some point in the game(can't remember)Zeus mocks Gaia that she may have chosen "the wrong one" which first arose my suspicions that Kratos' brother may in fact exist!

@Embolado: You see, Uranus and the Ocean have an understanding. She allows him to date other large bodies of water. Also, he is NOT a freaky fish guy.
  • Embolado - March 18, 2010 11:52 p.m.

I love how the ocean is all by its self in the corner.
  • sleepy92ismypsn - March 18, 2010 11:31 p.m.

so if kratos is related to aphrodite then he did some fucked up things in god of war 3
  • 510BrotherPanda - March 18, 2010 11:30 p.m.

@GoldenMe But Hera is Zeus' big sister, so it's already super weird without the games.
  • Pirazha - March 18, 2010 11:27 p.m.

well his wife was his sister, so that isn't much of a problem....probably you should better ask a redneck whether or not this is acceptable.
  • GoldenMe - March 18, 2010 11:09 p.m.

Sadly, that's how Greek Mythology usually goes. And besides, Zeus is a pompous jerk. The dude cheated on his wife multiple times.
  • Rubberducky - March 18, 2010 11:03 p.m.

Maybe Kratos will decide he wants revenge on all the Norse gods too so he'll go after Odin and Thor. Actually that sounds pretty good
  • chrisat928 - March 18, 2010 10:49 p.m.

    Gotta love Greek Mythology.
  • kaittybee - March 18, 2010 10:41 p.m.

Warning: These games are not intended for people who are not hellbent on killing everyone and their mother.
  • Cyberninja - March 18, 2010 10:41 p.m.

so kratos is a total douce and killed himself to make up for it
  • onewingedantista - March 18, 2010 10:38 p.m.

Wow, confusing. This could potentially get even more confusing if Aphrodite has a kid by way of Kratos. Will he be tricked into killing them?
  • Kytl - March 18, 2010 10:36 p.m.

A series where the entire point is to be a psychopath and kill his entire family...sounds like what you would expect to play these days
