Sega has just released an overload of new shots of Shadow the Hedgehog, the latest instalment in the long-running (with the emphasis on running) Sonic series.
The game focuses as much on shooting as it does on the super-speedy platforming for which the Sonic series is best known, while gamers are left with the quandary of whether Shadow is renegade or hero.
The Sonic offshoot provides players with an assortment of weapons and vehicles with which to progress through a total of 50 missions.
Shadow the Hedgehog will be released for PS2, Xbox and Gamecube this winter
