Serious Sam 3: BFE PC launch trailer launches, seriously

Today isn't Tuesday; it's rip-out-a-gnaar-eye-slaughter-Scrapjacks-and-save-the-world-from-Mental's-forces-day. At least, that's what we can gather from Croteam hot-off-the-interwebs launch trailer for the PC version of Serious Sam 3: BFE.

Serious Sam 3: BFE is the prequel to Croteam's Serious Sam: The First Encounter, which kicked off the less-than-serious FPS series back in 2001. In it, players are whisked away to modern day Egypt where the nefarious nemesis Mental has launched an attack on Earth, forcing the Duke Nukem-esque hero Sam to take up arms and blast away for all of mankind.

On top of the “no cover, all man” single player campaign, the game will sport 4-player split screen and 16-player co-op missions. Still no word on what BFE stands for, so for now we'll go “Bloody Friggin' Eyeballs”.

Serious Sam 3 is now available on Steam. Console versions for PS3 and Xbox 360 are also in development.
