Damn. This actually looks amazing, but there's so many good games coming out... Maybe I'll pick it up for a low price in 6 months or so.

I'd really really love to play this, but being an xbox owner it seems unlikely I ever will, i guess my consolation should be Gears of War 3 but ive only got round to playing the second one just now, so im really missing out on all the hype for that.

woah woah woah... Deus Ex had worst cons than that and it got a 10.. i dont understand your rating system anymore..

It's not a mathematical system... the Loves and Hates are there to provide concise points that are good and not so good about a game. They can't convey the entire score, because if they could, there wouldn't be a point in writing the review.

Looks very exciting. I'll have to buy it for my sister's boyfriend, considering I don't have PS3 (did that with MGS4 and a few other select titles). Glad to see Insomniac as finally nailed their formula down.

Sounds promising, I played the first Resistance and was really turned off to the series. This sounds promising though and I think I'll give this one a try.

My favourite bit about Resistance, (and I think R2 did it perfectly) is the vast assortment of Chimeran species. One minute your in a shootout, then your fighting "zombies," and then kiting from giants, etc. Its so varied, it never gets boring! Also, I've seen a clip of the "gorilla" creature Matt described, and it looks exactly like the "War Grok" from Imsomniac's, Ratchet and Clank: Crack in Time.

i love the way the multiplayer feels in this game its so smooth and natural idk i cant realy explain it

It looks like Resident Evil 4. I've never been a fan of FPS, with the exception of COD, but R3 sounds pretty interesting. I love a good campaign mode, 'cos I've got nobody to play with :(

So you're saying it's better than Halo Reach? #troll

I didn't sell a single copy today at Target, yet I sold out of Dead Island, and even sold a couple SPESS MEHREENs. For the score, it doesn't appear to be doing to well. And are you saying this is better than halo reach?

I've loved Ratchet and Clank from the beginning, but I've only tried the demo of the first Resistance, and didn't care that much. Maybe it's just the first-person perspective that puts me off, if there are so many interesting guns and aspects like R&C, maybe I should try this one later on.

Rental for me. Was going to buy until I played the MP beta. It was merely average. The lag was horrible (seems like a troubling trend for any game played online on the PS3) and there was some serious FPS troubles. At times the FPS was clearly in the teens. So all that's left for me is the campaign, which appears to be rather short. I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but a one-time play-through will suffice. Gamefly for me.
