I would love to revive Costume Quest and give it a proper sequel that fixes the problems from the first game. Don't get me wrong, I loved the first game and thought it was a great premise but it was far too repetitive to be a great game. It had a fun idea of your Halloween costumes coming to life like you always imagined as a kid, but the gameplay needs work. I would like to add in more boss battles or simply more complex fights, like the end boss of the first game. Make the environmental part of the battle and force you to use some strategy in your attacks and specials. I would also add more diversity to how you explore the environment and get candy, then just going house to house in 3 areas that are basically palette swaps of each other. Couple this with a bigger story, the same great Double Fine humor, and more characters and I think this would be a huge XBLA hit.

I just want Tak and the Power of Juju. When I was younger, I positively loved the first one. The second was okay. The third was terrible and so on. I would go back to the open world format. That sense of exploration and all the hidden things were great. I'd keep all the interesting personalities, go back to the darker tone of the first, and lastly improve the boss fights.

Ha. I was just at MONA last weekend for MONA FOMA (MOFO). did not expect it to show up on this podcast...

I would take Homefront...make it completely 3rd person....focus more on story than the first homefront....add some form of item creation along with slight rpg elements.....and make it an open world. Also, not such a big marketing campaign as the first one....yeah. That's what I'd do with Homefront.

I will take Destroy all humans, just so that there will be another one. Seriously though with a little tinkering, new graphics and a solid story itll be a great game and aliens are such a minority nowadays to play as. Crypto is such a cool character at that being a gruff voiced ass prober. I am really surprised a game like ratchet and clank got mor elove than this wonderful series. also http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gNnfmKAojQ

i would like to own saints row the third. I would then sell it to the highest bidder and make a profit on it.

I never answered the question of the week so "What THQ game would I like to own"? Honestly, none of them and I feel their shitty games are why the company failed. -I'm 26 and I stopped caring about wrestling when I was 14 -I practice Wing Chun Kung Fu so I don't care about UFC (Ya, I know, that is an odd duck reason) -Saint's Row were good co-op games but 3 had problems and it wasn't as crazy as people led me to believe it was -Homefront was AWFUL -Darksiders 1 was shit and I never played 2 because of it's shittiness. If I wanted to play a Zelda that isn't Zelda, I would play Okami -I don't like RTS games so those games mean nothing to me -Warhammer 40k is more enjoyable reading about it than actually playing any of them for me Uh, what else what else... whatever, I think I made my point.

I'd buy the WWE license, and with it I'd make a 16-bit turn based RPG. You'd play as a party of several attitude area wrestlers using their moves on bad guys to fight their way to the final boss (aka the evil Vince McMann). There would also be alternate universes you would visit such as WCW and ECW. Also there is a very special guest appearance by the World Wildlife Federation.
  • TheDCSniper - January 27, 2013 4:38 p.m.

I would like to own the Red Faction series and take it back to its quasi-communist, peoples uprising roots, except adapted to real life. Each game would focus on a historical revolution like the Russian Revolution, the Cuban Revolution, or even modern day conflicts like the Syrian Civil War.
  • dizzzydragon - January 27, 2013 3:53 p.m.

I would make a WWE game with only wrestlers that the wwe tries to pretend never happened. Eugene the "special needs" wrestler would share the cover with everyone's favorite family murdering monster, chris benoit!

I would like to own darksiders. I would release the next 2 games playing as pestilence and famine, but for the 5th entry it would be a 4 player co-op game where you pick which horsemen you want to play as, with each one having unique abilities. I guess it would be a blend of castle crashers with the original darksiders feel still.
  • wadesmit - January 26, 2013 11:26 p.m.

I would have purchased Relic, and then made another Impossible Creatures game. PLEASE SOMEBODY MAKE IC2.
  • BladedFalcon - January 26, 2013 10:34 p.m.

I'd like to get my hands on The Punisher property they used for the PS2 game that came out back in 2005. That game had great potential, and I think that with the right mix of creative stages, varied and brutal context sensitive executions and Max Payne-style gunplay, you could have a game that would make justice to good ol' Frank Castle. Also, very excited to hear about more podcasts to come! :D I actually never listened to the original Pokemon podcast before, but with X & Y in the horizon, I am certainly willing to give a new one a try. Also looking forward to more Spoilercasts! Finally, I echo FlagrantPilgrim's request to see something like the "In the community" and/or "In the office" sections the podcast used to have, those were fun to watch/read!
  • Killshot - January 26, 2013 10:25 p.m.

It would have to be the saints row franchise because 3 is what I wanted GTA to be. I would give platinum game the rights to make the sequel, because the only company with the that i know can make a good over the top game is platinum, plus i would love to see the combat system improved.
  • RebornKusabi - January 26, 2013 8:14 p.m.

By the way, the topic of furry chicks being drawn distinctively sexy is actually an older article for the site. Here it is- http://www.gamesradar.com/furverts-the-sexy-lady-beasts-of-gaming/ With that said, NOTHING is original and it would be interesting to see your spin on the topic within the sites current structure. So whatever.

  • Epyon_761 - January 26, 2013 11:26 a.m.

The two games that I would want from THQ are Saints Row and Company of Heroes and mash them together into the nuttiness RTS ever. Imagine Company of Heroes but instead of normal infantry, tanks, snipers and the German, Russian or American factions you instead have the Saints, The Lucahdor's and the STAG as the factions. Then for units you have normal ground units with assault rifles with the ability to use fart grenades, for a storm tropper class you have guys equipped with giant purple dildos that they charge at the enemy and beat them to death, for the anit-tank class they are equipped with the octopus launchers. Then for the tanks and other armored vehicles instead of having a .50 upgrade you upgrade either a tiger that will provide a perimeter around the vehicle and maul any units that get close, or have a zombie upgrade that will be strapped to the front of the vehicle and act as a shield against mines or extra armor. As for special call in units or airstrikes, a special call in unit would be the SMG wielding toilets that are very stong close range. As for airstrikes the STAG VTOL can come in and drop cluster bombs or hover over a specific spot and provide close air support. Ultimately what I want to see is two large infantries charging at each other wielding giant purple dildos and even a old throw back special vehicle would be a septic tank truck that would act like a flamethrower vehicle.
  • Goldeneye007 - January 26, 2013 9:26 a.m.

I'd like to own the wwe franchise, then promptly give it to Aki to make a No Mercy remake. I can dream.
  • Unoriginal - January 26, 2013 8:04 a.m.

I would like to own all of the THQ franchises and their licences! All the greats like Company of Heroes, 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, Big Mutha Truckers, Tak and so on. I would then commence to kidnap Masahiro Sakurai and Seth Killian and force them using various methods at my disposal to create the ultimate Smash Bros game using THQ owned characters. Spongebob vs. War vs. Professor Genki vs. That dude from Red Faction. It would be glorious!
