When Alomomola was first revealed, before the announcement that none of the Unova Pokemon would be related to Pokemon from previous regions, we all assumed that it was an evolution of Luvdisc. It seemed like a pretty save assumption, too, and it's possible that some Pokemon from Black and White were originally designed as evolutions of existing Pokemon before Game Freak decided that Unova would represent a closed ecosystem.

That HP is out of control. good for tanking while u heal up i guess. @Romination I'm pretty sure Sharpedo was a shark+torpedo. The name was not trying to trick you.

I don't like Alomomola because it looks like it should be a Luvdisc evolution. Furthermore, it's based clearly on a sunfish, which Sharpedo was, too. It's like a lovely, pink, female version of that. That name looks very Hawaiian.
