New Batman: Arkham City trailer has spoiler-free tour of the sprawling metropolis

In this morning’s preview for Batman: Arkham City developer Rocksteady may have revealed a little more than some may have been prepared for. If you’re looking for a totally spoiler-less Arkham City experience, then we’ve got the video for you! Watch as Bats explores good chunk of Arkham City, traveling from rooftop to rooftop as he heads to the old steel mill…

We’d seen some of Arkham City’s… um… city before in other videos, but this one really shows just how vast it might be. And this is just Bats quickly moving to his set location for the next story mission, not exploring every nook and cranny available to him. Just imagine how much time you could spend just floating along, sightseeing the town at your leisure. And in just a few short weeks, you’ll finally get your chance when it hits the US 10/18 and the UK 10/21.

This looks so awesome I can't wait to get. First I need to get and play asylum since I haven't played it yet.

Gotham City's Olympus? Zeus as a side-villain, perhaps? This game looks awesome and they've really expanded on the environment from AA. It really is hard to choose what the hell I'm actually going to buy!

I had to stop and rewind to the beginning after about thirty seconds, because I literally could not believe what I was seeing. This looks fantastic!

GODDAMMIT THERE'S TOO MANY AWESOME GAMES COMING OUT! Seriously, between this, Saint's Row, Skyrim, Zelda, and Uncharted, I don't know what the hell I'm gonna do with myself. I'm already playing Gears and the Ico/SotC collection. I also have RAGE pre-ordered, but SOMEHOW that game seems almost boring by comparison. That's an accomplishment.

We're in the exact same boat man (minus Zelda; no Wii) I'm actually not that impressed by Rage. But like you said, that's probably simply because it's competition is so damn Boss

I had to re-read it a couple times. I kept thinking, "Wait, I thought this was set in Gotham, not Metropolis?" Ha.
