Horrible "all time" list that doesn't actually consider "all time." No PacMan? Are you freaking kidding me? That game invented video-game addiction.

How can you have a list of addictive games without RuneScape? So many people try, and fail, to leave the game. They decide, I'm done with this. It's not for me, anymore. They go away for a few hours, and then they're right back on.

How are you going to tell me plants v zombies, angry birds, and candy crush made this list but there's no sign of 'Fallout', 'Morrowind', or 'XCOM'. Not to mention Mario 64, smash Bros, Mario kart and party, pacman etc. In an "all time" list?

starcraft easily has been the most addicting game for me personally been playing it for like 4 years coming from the very bottom to the very top of the ladder and it still hasn't gotten old for me.

Havent put much time into any of those games and don't plan on going back to any of them. The one game I would hv to put on the list is final fantasy XI

"Of all time," it says, before listing a bunch of recent games. A better way to have done this list? Look up the games that proved so addictive they resulted in real-world deaths or hospitalizations. Someone played Starcraft for so long it killed him. Tetris proved so addictive it resulted in hallucinations. Not a well-done list.

Villainous crime lord raccoon? I don't get why people think Nook is so evil. How many other people will let you take all the time you want to repay a loan without ever charging interest? In the first few games you do a few menial tasks to pay off a small portion of the debt for your house, and then you're free to take all the time you wish to pay off the rest. In the real world you'd lose your house if you don't make payments of a certain amount every single month. You could go YEARS without paying Nook a dime and he'll never bother you about it.

Geometry dash: A smartphone game with stunning music, tough levels, and...Just when you think you can move on, there's a secret coin that you missed, causing you to play 200 more times. Now, multiply that by 20.

Been playing games since 1979 when I was 7, these are some of my personal games that forced me to go into gamer rehab. not my favourite games by all means, just memorably addictive. 1.1984: FLICKY http://www.play-sc-3000.com/cart.php?Game=FLICKY&Letter=F In 1984 on the Sega SC-3000 I borrowed it from a mate at school, took a year to pry it out of my hands to give it back. This is addiction. 2. 1993: CANON FODDER Got to the end, and that is no easy feat. Just try it! Yes, even 21 years ago mothers were screaming "get of that computer!" 3. 2001: ICO one of the best games I have ever played, got a minute to spare, back to ICO. 4. 2002: Stuntman! Damn it! I was so close! I can do it, this time I mean it! Completed and was estatic. 5. Fight Night 2: I can still remember my Champion title fight against Ali, I was sure that I was a gonna. brilliant controller move set-up. 6. COMPANY OF HEROES: Seriously the best strategic war game ever created.

Has all time passed yet? Or has every game ever made including games that will be made in the future gotten released? Don't call it a list "of all time" if the answer is no.

FFX, how many people dumped tons of hours into the Omega Ruins? Really, what a terrible list of games. Was this list made by a 19yr old child? What about the first Tony Hawk, Legend of Zelda 1, any first gen NES games, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Soul Caliber (just going through fighting games that should have made the list), Fable (maybe just me), Halo, Blitz, FFVII, Everquest, the list goes on and on for better games.
