Microsoft runs down Xbox One exclusives and more in trailer

With so much news about Xbox One's changing online, used game, and Kinect policies, it's easy to forget the system will host a bounty of awesome games. Microsoft would prefer we all spent a bit more time thinking about the latter, so it assembled this new sizzle trailer and some fun facts about the line up.

Thirty-eight percent of Xbox One's currently announced games are exclusive to Microsoft's system, and 44 percent have exclusive or timed exclusive content, according to Xbox Wire. Check out our list of every Xbox One game we know of to see the likes of Titanfall and Dead Rising 3 in more detail.

Come on.... two of the games they showed are the same on the One and PS4, and then two sports games that have some exclusive content that I can't imagine people caring about, as well as a few other games that don't even have exclusive content but the content is just coming to One a little earlier, and then there's there only actual exclusives: KI which many seem very speculative of, Halo which is so far off it doesn't even have a title, Ryse which has been thoroughly torn apart for it's extremely bland gameplay and essentially being harder to lose at than Knack because you can't fail, and then there's Forza which is probably their only solid exclusive but a racing game isn't enough to carry a system. They didn't even mention the designed for Kinect Crimson Dragon oddly enough considering this is supposed to be their "Best Games on Xbox One" sizzle real and that would have left them with at least one Kinect game in since they're still forcing people to have it. Oh and there's Titan Fall. So that and Forza are probably their only exclusives worth counting, although Titan Fall will also be available for PC if I remember correctly, and getting the PC version means not having to pay for a Kinect that you don't want sooooo...... their launch is looking pretty sad right now. They're going to be heavily dependent on 3rd party support and need to at least make people think that their hardware offers a better experience to play those 3rd party titles that will be on both systems. Maybe they shouldn't have rushed out the last Gears of War and maybe made something a lot more substantial for the One? At least then they'd have something big at launch, rather than saying "Halo..." and hoping people don't realize that it's years away.

So of the games they showed that are only for the Xbox One I only want two of them. Also, no Quantum Break? What gives I'm actually super interested in it!

Wake me when Infamous Second Son comes out. I'm actually really excited for that. I can't say the same about a single Xbox exclusive.

Um... even after the 180, I see nothing on here that makes me what an X1, except maybe Killer Instinct.

TitanFall isn't an Xbox exclusive already. You are correct about DR3 though. It will come to PC like the other 2 games, not that I care though. What a joke of a trailer though, bragging about being FIRST! for DLC. I'll take having my games look better, perform better, and cost less on my PC over having the opportunity to pay for DLC a month before anyone else. What a fucking joke of a system.

I was talking about both games coming out for PS4 eventually as well, not just PC. But you're correct though in that TitanFall isn't en exclusive anyway even now XD

Lol OK Microsoft all of those exclusives all 4 of them that you showed. Why don't you at least try a little bit harder.

"The best games are on Xbox One" *Shows a trailer in which more than half of the games aren't even exclusives, and half of the ones taht are have been almost universally panned in previews. And the arguably biggest exclusive is easily a year or two away* Heh... yeah, sure, whatever you say Microsoft...

Oh! and it also should be noted that the two current exclusives that ARE coming soon and actually look good, (TitanFall and Dead Rising 3) are both from third party publishers that aren't really known for keeping anything exclusive for long... So yeah.
