This site will give even garbage 10's it seems........ The game is a short 10 hour game thats pretty generic

Is ten hours really that short for an action game? When you don't have much free time, being able to play a stellar action game and finish it in a weekend seems pretty good too me.

Not to mention the multiplayer, time attack and new york minute modes all add extra longevity by a god margin. I wouldn't really bother with him further though, he's obviously either a troll or an idiot, possibly both.

Ten hours is fantastic, I was worried we'd only be getting around 6-7 but those extra few put it at just the right length. I honestly can't think of many action games that lasted longer if you exclude open-world titles. Remember back when everyone was pouring praise over the likes of Goldeneye and campaign length wasn't even brought into question? I miss those days.

    What's the difference between a 10 and a 'garbage 10'?

MW2 got a 9, and it had a generic Michael Bay campaign that was 4 hours long. The fact that this shooter has TEN HOURS of gameplay that isn't stale would give it a 9 alone. Everything else gives it 1 extra point.

I saw your "review" on gameinformer. What's so entertaining about doling out such unsupported negativity everywhere? To get a rise out of people? There's better ways of doing that.

I'll admit, I have no prior affection for the Max Payne series, but if Rockstar has taught me anything; it is that they know how to do gritty erd person shooters. I loved GTA IV, RDR and LA Noire and this has to be one of the games I am very tempted to actually go out and buy on day one, instead of waiting for it to drop in price later on.

Wow, I wasn't expecting a 10. I guess I done good for preordering it last week?
