In lieu of a proper sequel to their classic PSP puzzler, Sony have released this spin-off that you can buy from the PlayStation Network for less than the price of a sandwich. Rather than tilt the world to control your LocoRoco pals, as the PSP game, in Cocoreccho you guide a butterfly around the screen with the right analogue stick and lead them through the level. At certain points you can tilt or shake the controller to get past obstacles, and %26ldquo;call%26rdquo; the LocoRocos and get them to follow you.
It%26rsquo;s delightfully basic, and the saccharine music and visuals are as sweet as ever. Naturally, it%26rsquo;s not as good as the PSP version. But it%26rsquo;s not really a full game, so comparing the two is unfair. Coccorecho is in full HD too, and seeing the pin-sharp LocoRocos singing away in 1080p is worth the asking price alone. It%26rsquo;s fun while it lasts, but is more of a distraction - or even an interactive screensaver - than a proper game.
