LittleBigPlanet - new level, new footage
Sackboy gets his pirate suit on and goes sailing
Dec 10, 2007
It's been quiet on the LittleBigPlanet front lately, much to our despair, but we finally have some new footage of a new level in the awesome-looking physics-based platformer.
It's a pirate ship sailing through a new scrolling platform level, showing off more of the game's brilliant physics. It's quite a basic level, but it's the charm of it - look into the background and you can see the waves are created by planks of water-like wood stuck to spinning wheels.
What's impressive is that it looks like the whole thing was done entirely using the level editing tools within the game, showing you just how flexible those tools are, and how creative you can be. You can make literally anything. Except for real girlfriends. You can't make those.
Who needs them anyway? Watch the video over atSony's sort-of official blog, ThreeSpeech. Do it now.
