hey, cooper, you forgot to mention the last boss is a QTE and that, is inacceptable, it doesnt deserve a 4 1/2 star and mcdonald also forgot to salt my fries i are not amused by your tomfoleries i wont even spoil the end because it was so disapointing

i just realised they also forgot my bbq sauce for my late night mcnuggets cooper, i wish i were your boss so i could say "cooper, if i were your mom, i would spank you very, very, very hard on your puny ass", because this is what good bosses say they tell you about your mom and spanking

I thought drunken fools were required to stay within the confines of Youtube. How did you get out?
  • tiben36 - November 1, 2012 12:29 a.m.

your mom gave me the key *eh eh, his mom*

And if I find out you spoiled anything for me, I'll be having a stern conversation with your mother young man.=|

I think I'm now one of the few gamers who will only buy a game if it has a decent single player mode. Lets face it, most FPS series these days are multiplayer games with a single player as a second thought tacked on to sucker people like me into buying them

So it's better than Halo: Reach! I might have enough room to fit this in to my gaming time but the fact I can't get spartan ops without gold membership puts me off a bit. But at the very least I'll have to buy/rent it for splitscreen gaming nights with friends even though knowing them they'll protest and want to go and play 3 instead.

So your telling me............ 343.......BEAT BUNGIE AT THE SERIES!? or something of the sort!? VERY Impressive, you dont expect this with new devs on old series.

I'll be honest I didn't see this coming. Coupled with IGN's review I think I may have to pick this one up at full price. I may enjoy it more than I am enjoying AC3. I'm having an extremely hard time looking past the huge amount of glitches.

Why did you post this exact comment over at Gamespot?

i love my 360, but i gotta say, the countdown timer for this game that pops up as soon as you boot up your system is hilarious. "hey guys, your annual 360 exclusive is almost here!" i suppose i might get suckered in to getting this after a price cut, as halo seems to be something that i really want to like, but have always found a bit underwhelming.

Good to hear its better then Halo:Reach but then again as a numbered game that should have been expected even if a new studio is handling it.
  • ObliqueZombie - November 1, 2012 4:29 a.m.

"Annual" 360 exclusive? Reach came out in 2010, and the Halo: CEA was just a fun somewhat-fanmade release. The next Halo won't come out for another two years.

343 are not a bunch of noobs. They even have some people who worked on Metroid Prime games. In fact, i would find it weird if they weren't better than Bungie.
  • RushLight - November 1, 2012 5:28 a.m.

So you're saying this is better than Halo: Reach!?
  • aJAWSOMEocelot - November 1, 2012 5:49 a.m.

Clearly. That game got an 8 - flaming piece of shit.
  • ultimatepunchrod - November 1, 2012 5:53 a.m.

Very nice. Glad the new studio did a good job.

Excellent
YOU'LL LOVE
  • Playing through the thrilling campaign
  • Keeping up with Spartan Ops
  • Losing a few hundred hours in multiplayer
YOU'LL HATE
  • How quickly it’s over
  • That Spartan Ops isn’t hard enough
  • That some gameplay elements haven’t evolved
