get up to 800 points? that doesn't add up shouldn't it be 1,000? 600+300+100= 1,000. or am I doing the math wrong?

This doesn't sound like a healthy thing to promote...although I'll likely get 100 points out of it anyways.

Up to a max of 800 points. Damn. I was really hoping they'd give you 1k points for playing Halo 4. That'd be pretty nice. Still cool to see they're giving back at least.

hey that spam is actually a little bit related to the article.

Considering I tend to get the most out of my multiplayer games, this is actually quite cool. I might actually do this.

I... I like this! The more I play a game, the more legit rewards I get in the real world? Free stuff here I co--oh, wait. I'm a broke-ass college student and can't get this game yet.

God, if they did this for Fallout 4...

If you were to attempt to play 140+ hours this month, you would have to play an average of about 6 hours a day every day for the rest of the month.

And you think that nobody will reach this milestone?
  • WOFxnine - November 7, 2012 5:07 a.m.

140+ hours of gameplay is unrealistic in a months time.
  • Kyo - November 7, 2012 9:25 a.m.

The sad part is it really isn't that unrealistic of a goal for some fanboys. lol I only "like" halo enough to have bought the game to play with my friends, I'm not a fanboy so there's no way in hell I'd spend hours and hours playing this to the point of boredom. BUT some people? I'm sure there are a lot of addicts that have been playing the game almost nonstop since it's midnight launch. lol

To be honest that's a brilliant scheme and I hope it catches on. Effectively rewarding loyal fans with a free DLC pack is a lovely touch. All publishers do this please.

It would be nice to turn my 400 hours in Mass Effect 3 multiplayer into Microsoft points.
