As people are saying, Bayonetta isn't her own mother.. Cereza is just a younger her from the past. Bayonetta/Cereza's mother is called Rosa. Still a pretty messed up family though.

Haha, nice attempt by PSM3 to advertise themselves with a poorly written guest article. Severely inaccurate information that could have taken 2 minutes to confirm on wiki? The greater abundance of examples in these comments are also far more engrossing. But not like my comment has any impact on things, being in after spam lol.

BonafideMyth -- I'm guessing if LBJ says your name is Boss, your name is Boss. But if the Boss's name was Boss too, I suppose that means that Solid, Liquid and Solidus have a creepy Uncle Ocelot who always ruins the family gatherings. And nobody wants to change decrepit Grandpa Sorrow's catheter bag.

Yeah but the Estacado's aren't gaming exclusive. They are an adaptation from the comic.

The Amakura twins in Fatal Frame 2 have issues.
  • AGENTJORRRG - September 21, 2010 6:29 a.m.

Oh and you kill your Uncle and help out family friends with your DEMON TENTACLES. C'mon, the Estacado's win this one.
  • AGENTJORRRG - September 21, 2010 6:25 a.m.

The Estacado family was an obvious one. Undead grampa? Ancient evil for a birthday? Gramma has guns all over her house? Girlfriend gets her brains blown out? Uncle tries to kill you? I cant think of a more screwie family than that.

I don't remember the name of it, but the family from Undying is pretty screwed up.

Jin is sooooo not Heihachi's son. That heathen is Kazuya's son. Plus, he can't cut it as a Mishima anyway. LONG LIVE THE MISHIMA CLAN!!
  • Solid_Gabriel - September 21, 2010 4:13 a.m.

[nerd rage mode on] Dude, you got all wrong with Tekken! Jin is not Heihachi's son! He's his grandson! And Lee is adopted! [/nerd rage mode off]

None of these are as weird as House of the Dead: Overkill.

Devil May Cry fanboy here! Allow me to interject? The Sparda family is surprisingly messed up. It all begins with Sparda. First of all, Sparda is a demon who falls in love with and has children with a human woman, Eva. Interspecies romance? Interdimensional romance? His armor/skin had a lot of jagged edges, so I can't imagine the sex being pretty. Of Sparda and Eva's two children, Dante ends up falling in love with a woman who looks identical to his mother (Freud would be proud. Technically speaking, she is Dante and Sparda's nemesis's daughter.) Vergil ends up becoming evil and begins a deadly feud with his brother in search of stealing his father's former power. He is later possessed and forced to combat Dante as Nelo Angelo. Vergil (apparently, as this is the most common belief) has a son, Nero. Nero manifests his father's personality through his father's sword (and possibly the his arm as well), sometimes being overwhelmed with his father's thoughts and emotions. Sort of messed up if you ask me. Makes for bloody good fun, though. God I love that universe...

*Spoiler* Although I won't give away anything else then one game title "Bioshock".
  • IsaacFenix - September 21, 2010 2:15 a.m.

***SPOILER*** Bayonetta isn't her own mother. Cereza, Bayonetta as a child, was taken from her own time (500 years in the past) and transported to the present by Balder (Baynetta's/Cereza's biological father). This was done for the sole purpose of awakening the Left Eye within Bayonetta. Balder then knocks out Bayonetta and uses her power to awaken a god to unify the three realities. Nothing expresses a father's love for his daughter more than using her as a sacrifice to destroy the universe as we know it. No incest involved, but just as screwed up though.
