We're sure that killing people shouldn't be as effortlessly enjoyable as this, but with the collaborative efforts of gun fu director John Woo and the team behind the excellent Psi-Ops responsible for this over-the-top action shooter, Stranglehold is primed to be one of the ballsiest, most beautiful, genuinely cinematic and pulse racingly thrilling experiences of 2007. Believe us, we've played it and it's warming up to be a ballistic blockbuster.

Kaos Studios knows about shooters - members of its team have worked on FEAR, Medal of Honor, Doom 3 and Battlefield mod, Desert Combat. This slice of next-gen, vehicle-heavy warfare promises to be a dazzling debut for the developer.
