Final Fantasy XIV comparison video reveals improved floor textures!

The latest video for Final Fantasy XIV shows some improvements made after development team level-upped their title from the alpha to beta stage. Most of the differences we spotted were subtle, like slightly sharper shadows cast from character models, a shorter draw distance, and (wait for it)… IMPROVED FLOOR TEXTURES!

    I can't see anything that's supposed to be better because all the pixels in full screen are the size of ink blots

    Why can't we skip XIV and just get a real FF on its way. It'll take like 8 years to come out so they might as well announce it instead of an MMO!

    Nice improvements but still can't see anything that sets it apart from any other MMO.

    oh my god, the combat in this game makes runescape look inviting...

    This looks amazing, they even fixed the slow paced combat which was the only thing keeping me from drooling completely over it :O
