Fallout 3 - it's got gore like Gears of War

Fallout 3 - the post-apocalyptic RPG from Oblivion creator, Bethesda -has the soupiest, most splattery gore that we've seen since Gears of War. A well-placed bullet scatters dome debris like pebbledash, with eyeballs and bits of brain identifiable amongst the pile of post-headshot sticky bits. Have a look at the chunks flying in the image below to see what we mean.

But don't expect this atomic role-player to be anything like the heavy-booted Xbox 360 shooter - the similarities start and finish with the glorious, crimson-colored spillages. While it features plenty of guns, Fallout 3 is a straight up RPG with shooty bits and, from what we've seen so far, it promises to be Oblivion in radioactive clothes. Which is definitely no bad thing.

I don't have the energy to really hate anything properly. Most things I think are OK or inoffensively average. I do love quite a lot of stuff as well, though.
