Motion controlling is going to kill gaming.

as far as i am aware, these are not supposed to replace regular controllers, just be an extra option for some genres, of course something like gears or whatever would never work, but the rts idea is amazing and could easily be better on ps3 than pc if its actually a decent game as well. the wii motes are ok, better with motion plus but they are limited by the wii's graphics, power and capabilities, as well as the fact that devs dont really have to compete with much more than imagine party babyz. i will probably get this when it comes out because i admit it, wii sports is fun (the tennis, boxing and maybe baseball) and in the capable hands of sony and the definite hardcoreness of the ps3, it will not turn into a fest for casual games, they will realise when it will be best just to use a normal controller and they will use it to its full potential.

Exactly what I was thinking after watching the conferences and discussing the matter with friends and my professors. This will never work for me, at least not as some sort of adequate substitution for controller-based gaming. No, I won't say it
