Today, we have lots of info for audiophiles from the game’s audio director, composer, lead voice actor, and sound crew. If the video sounds boring, that might just be because sound in games is so often overlooked in traditional games coverage.

So stay a while, and listen to what the unsung heroes of game development have to say about their craft. You just might be surprised.

I need to stop watching those previews, I'm already embarrassed in public by my constant throbbing boner.

I never consider myself an audiophile but I appreciate game audio about 300times more now that I have PX5 Turtle Beach headphones. It can make a great difference in how immersive the game can be and glaringly obvious when developers phoned it in. There are a handful of games I take them off for because it actually takes away from the experience because the game audio is so lacking.
