Owners of team-play multiplayer game Day of Defeat will be able to download a new update this Wednesday, 28 June, which offers a smattering of gameplay enhancements and adds a totally new match type, complete with two fresh levels designed for the new mission objectives. And we've got a video to give you a sneak preview.
The brace of new levels - Colmar, set on a stormy northern France battlefield; and Jagd, a tight, urban environment in Germany - pit Axis and Allies against each other in the new Detonation match type. The assaulting team has TNT charges to detonate on tactical objectives - like the troop truck in the video - and the defenders must prevent this happening.
