Borderlands 2 brings its randomized arsenal to PS Vita

During its press conference at Gamescom 2013, Sony announced something that should make portable shooter fans quite happy. Gearbox's acclaimed FPS Borderlands 2 will be coming to PlayStation Vita, complete with Psychos, randomly generated guns, and the harsh disses from Handsome Jack. The cel-shaded art style should lend itself nicely to a handheld port, and though we haven't yet seen screens or video of the port, we're confident that the Vita has the power to do right by the game's stylish visuals. No release date has been announced as of yet, but keep checking back for more updates.

Seems like the perfect game for Vita right now, because it's a fairly good sized game with plenty of side quests and the like that can provide people with a lot more gaming value. Most of what the strong Vita games out there are, are linear games with limited replayability and length.

Cool, I haven't bought borderlands 2 yet because I feared it would just sit in my collection unplayed but being able to take it on the train with me everyday would solve that issue.
