Rainbow Dash says hello. (...What have I done?)

Ok, is it bad I knew quite a few of the 32 mentioned here, plus a lot of games (pretty much all Japanese) off the top of my head, like Can't Escape the Heroine, Real Kanojo, Rapelay *shudders*, Box Hako and the like? And before anyone accuses me of anything sordid, I only know these because of a video series called GameFap, produced by a guy called Benzaie.

Why does this not suprise me that Lucas wrote this? Also the level of detail in this article makes me wonder just how many of these he has played through. You guys at GR really need to find him a GF.

Anyone else mildly amused Riana Rouge was made primarily by women? I wonder what feminists have to say about that....ok don't tell me I already know.

It is unfortunate that you mentioned Water Closet for two reasons: 1. Now I have to live knowing that Water Closet exists. 2. This article will actually inspire some people to play Water Closet.

I was expecting to see more eroge visual novels like the citizen kane of videogames, boob wars and other classics like hatoful boyfriend (you date pigeons in this game) and my girlfriend is the president. I'll just leave Jim Sterling's hilarious review of boob wars here

This article leads to me a one conclusion: all truly horrid games that aren't even questionable but just plain garbage should be given an AO to protect children from the terror they might instill. Like Aliens: Colonial Marines or Quantum Theory.
  • shawksta - September 13, 2013 7:32 p.m.

Well this list is interesting Ah Manhunt 2, that f*cking game. It truly simulated every possible thing into real life and how it really feels, it was really scary too because of it.

Kind of funny how Mature and AO games are rarely Mature and never Adult.

"I could see a rainbow in my piss... I never thought peeing could be so beautiful!" Wow. Okay. I just read that and could only say: Double-yoo... Tee... EFF, JAPAN! Also, "peeing and pooping on women before, during and after forced sex..." Okay, I've actually heard of some perverted rapey-games and the like, and have actually heard of a friend-of-a-non-friend-guy who was into that kind of thing, and can actually understand on a basic level how that sort of thing can be arousing, if unsettlingly so. But peeing and pooping on women? Before, DURING (oh god), AND after?!?! Come on, man. That's just... oh God. Images, in my head now, that I really would rather not be there. Thanks, Japan. Thanks a lot. Sheesh.

Yeah, well you know, I was flipping channels and caught "40 Year Old Virgin" a while back. Turns out it was the uncut version... And there's a scene with the Indian dude at the store where he starts talking about the "butthole pleasures" and the things that one gives up so to speak and in the uncut version he lists a long list of phrases like "Rusty Trombone" and "Dirty Sanchez" and so forth. Well, I had no idea what he was talking about so I looked up every term listed...and well, you can't unlook them up in your mind once you look them up. All I can say is those terms and the topic of your post are basically the same topic, and if you don't want to think about that, you definitely don't want to know the names for it, lol.

I've heard of those and other sorts of things. Raunchy, to be sure, but IMO a far cry from forcibly violating a woman and defecating and urinating on them. I mean, in the cases you mention that stuff can actually be consensual. Like, some people will actually get off on that. Raping a woman and using them as a toilet is just disrespectful and messed up on so many levels it's mind-boggling.
  • Rub3z - September 14, 2013 12:07 a.m.

To clarify (I wish there was an EDITING FEATURE!!!), a better word to use would have been CONCEIVABLY. I.e., that stuff you mentioned can [conceivably] be consensual. To say it can actually be consensual would suggest that there definitely do exist people who relish acts of that nature, when it's really up for interpretation. It's said that undoubtedly some people are. But best not to think of them, lol

We are miscommunicating a tiny bit, you are focused on the "forcibly" part and I was focusing on the "poop" part of your comment. Absolutely nothing I said should be taken to imply I'm ok with the forcible aspect, and I agree 1000000% with you. I was just saying that it's disgusting whether consensual or not and that you can't get it out of your head that enough people do those things to coin a phrase for the thing, once you learn that they do. It's so disgusting, I don't even want to quibble on some of the finer points, such as pointing out that the nature of the act of incorporating human waste is humiliating and degrading, even when the receiver is willingly receiving. And if you have a rebuttal to any points, I'll just go ahead and concede in advance because I don't want to talk about this subject any further ;-) The only reason I posted this was because you seemed to think I wasn't bothered by rape, and I wanted to make sure I set the record straight there that I'm not ok with rape, and yes, I find that more deplorable than the, um, "items" that are used as "props."

These things exist in America and other countries too, you just don't hear about them. It's not fair to vilify one country simply because you have kept yourself ignorant to the disgraceful things yours does almost as much. In fact, I've noticed that this genre of pornography is far more mainstream in places like the US. It may not be as socially acceptable in video game form, but it wouldn't take you much more than a few minutes of google searching to realize that every country is pretty much just as strange as you seem to think Japan is.
  • Eightboll812 - September 14, 2013 8:47 a.m.

It goes without saying that perverts exist in every country, that there is no monopoly on that. It is of course a personal responsibility. But when a culture tolerates a behavior to the point it is even remotely considered socially acceptable you can of course criticize the culture that accepts it. Your response even acknowledges this point since you state it's not as socially acceptable, meaning it's kept in the dark corners of society. I'd be careful if I were you about commenting about what is mainstream here based on what you can find with Google, since we have about three times the population of Japan, even if all things were equal, there would be three times as much content of a particular nature--in other words, the logic isn't the reverse that if you can find more content, it's more acceptable. You are also making lots of leaps of logic, when "researching by Google" such as assuming you know who and where viewers are consuming content from. For all you know, it's a US porn "studio" making content for a Japanese audience ;-O In all my life and traveling (and I'm probably lots older than you), I've never once, met someone who gave any hint of any indication they were into either aspect (rape or feces) of this subject. And if you say, they wouldn't admit it, that is prezactly the point here. There's no level of social acceptability, and on no level is it mainstream. However, there is a Japanese game highlighting both of these. So yeah, makes you wonder why the two cultures are different in their tolerance for this type of content. It is not my intent to have a flame war with you over which country "is worse", because yeah, America has tons of different problems, but I find your post to be as inflammatory and ignorant of the US as you claim the other post was of Japan simply because Google returns search results, which is just hysterical for basing such a point.
