@crumbdunky I've actually read all of them and found them very good reads (except for the second one that pretty much outlined halo 1. why did i want to read what I could just play), but I'm pretty big into halo's story I didn't really see anything wrong with the gravemind. Playing as the arbiter more then the master chief is where it jumped the shark for me. but the flood is the whole basis of the entire halo story (as halo's exist to defeat the flood) the bionic commando thing made me think even less of that game, which I didn't think could happen. thanks GR!

Y'know what? Srew you, gamesradar! I found the "getting off your board" concept in tony hawk rather fun, and it provided a change of pace to the tony hawk series. And the plots ARE good, even IF most of them are "boy wants to be pro and becomes one". So shove that in your juicebox and suck it dry!!!!

The world will look up and shout "Save us!" and I'll whisper "Eh, maybe later..." I have nothing to contribute to this topic as I kinda agree with every selection.

ohhhhh.... i think beyond good and evil makes some sense to me now... mmmk, so the statue is still alive cause you are part of the statue just like the thingy you just killed and you now control the statue and the powers and whatnot. and the pig has to die.

I love the Ecco with lazers picture. I kept saying "pew pew pew" tonight, and now it's an inside joke amongst my friends... and it's my background pic on my computer... yeah it really tickled my fancy.

Gears of war did turn more into a adventure game when I was in the Worm level. It didn't really feel like a shooter when I was just running around.
  • IronicBob - August 23, 2009 5:57 p.m.

I liked Gravemind. He was amongst my 3 favorite characters in the Halo trilogy.

FYI, the "evil Lara" was an upgraded doppleganger from TR1. But I will agree with the zombie mom part. For 3 (count'em THREE) episodes, Lara's trying to find her mom, and all of a sudden, she's a zombie. Well that was a huge waste of time.
