Spills and thrills aplenty are guaranteed at this year’s FrightFest Halloween All-Nighter, the line-up of which has been announced by Film4.
Taking place at Leicester Square’s Empire Cinema on Saturday 30 October, the screamfest looks set to turn any horror fan’s hair white with fright, with a selection of films that includes Choose , Jaws -inspired The Reef and retro classic Cannibal Girls .
But first, Japan’s revenge epic Confessions kicks things off at 6pm. Directed by Tetsuya Kamikaze Girls Nakashima, it’s been likened to Park Chan-Wook’s Vengeance for its psych warfare.
Next comes Altitude , a Twilight Zone -inspired oddity about two teenagers gripped in a tussle against a supernatural force, while Cannes haunted house shocker The Silence House should raise a few chills.
Finally, batty Finnish shocker Rare Exports: A Christmas Tale will also be showing. Following a group of hunters who catch wild Santa Clauses and tame them, this should really get you in the mood for some horrific Yuletide festivities.
Tickets are going for £50. Head over to the fest’s official website for more information.
