Comic-Con 2009: 5 most important missed stories

Behemoth is always a presence at comic conventions, whether selling toys of its bizarre characters or showing off a new game. The new game this year was its so-far-untitled next game, unofficially known as Game #3. Here's the spellbinding trailer:

5. Bungie done with Halo?

Remember waaaaaaay back in 2007, right after the release of Halo 3 when Bungie became its own studio again, thus splitting from Microsoft and leaving MS the Halo franchise in the bargain? Well, in the nearly two years since, what have we seen from Bungie? The as-yet unreleased Halo 3: ODST and the recently announced Halo: Reach. It seemed a bit silly that Bungie went independent from MS and gave up the Halo rights just to make more Halo games.

Well, according tothis interview, that soon won't be the case. Though cagey about the details for what comes next, the developer said at Comic-Con that, "after Reach, that's it for us." So while any real news about their new game is at least a year away, fans of Bungie who might be getting a little weary of Halo can know that there's something new on the horizon, however far away.
