New Halo 2 maps released
Complete Multiplayer Map Pack now available for free via Xbox Live
The Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack - which - has just been made available for free download via Xbox Live.
The collection of new maps for Bungie's superb shooter was originally available to buy in July, and four of the nine maps have since been made available to download free of charge.
But it's now possible to grab the whole lot for free by simply signing up to Xbox Live and selecting the content download option from the Halo 2 menu.
The newly-released maps are Relic, Elongation, Terminal, Backwash and Gemini. You'll need to download them all before next week's playlist update is released to be able to get involved with the ranked multiplayer sessions.
And if you want to have a look around the new locations, it's possible to do so via the Rumble Preview and Team Preview playlists.
