20th Century Fox is planning a sequel to Oliver Stone's 1987 classic Wall Street, and the studio is talking to Michael Douglas about returning as financial powerhouse Gordon Gekko.
As the real-life Wall Street continues to dominate the news in America, producer Edward R Pressman (who worked on Stone's original) is busy pulling together plans for another Gekko story, reports Variety .
This time, the plot will follow an aged Gekko as he's released from prison into a financial world that has been plunged into chaos. Allan Loeb is writing the script.
