Real life offers us very few opportunities for opening mysterious doors that lead to nowhere. This greatest of the cartoon deceptions is superbly achieved in World of Warcraft.
How to: You’ll need a Warlock with Summoning, two fellow bastards and one innocent victim. Head for high ground - we recommend the lifts at Thunder Bluff - and lay your trap. Summoning will teleport a teammate to a location about five feet in front of where you stand. So if the tips of your toes are over the edge of a cliff, that won’t be firm ground. Get your mean buddies to activate the portal, and emote sweetly to your mark. We like to think of the load time as the gaming equivalent of cartoon feet scuttling in mid-air, before your victim plummets out of sight.
