We're heading for a super Sunday as the Carabao Cup final takes place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday the 22nd of March. It'll see Manchester City take on Arsenal in what's bound to be a gripping battle, and the kick-off is at 4.30pm UK time.

For the second season running the Carabao Cup Final is happening later in the calendar: in previous years the final took place in February, but in 2025 it was moved to March and it's staying there this year too.

How to watch the Carabao Cup final

UK: Sky Sports Main Event / Sky Sports Football / ITV 1 and online via ITV X (free)

US: CBS Sports Golazo via Paramount Plus (from $2.99/month)

AUS: beIN SPORTS 2 / beIN SPORTS CONNECT (7 days free)

Watch from abroad: NordVPN (try risk-free)

The Carabao Cup is the first major trophy of the season, and it's going to be an intense game: the bookies are predicting a win for Arsenal but that's by no means guaranteed.

According to Ladbrokes the Gunners may be the favourites with odds of 4/6, but Man City aren't far behind with odds of 11/10. And Man City have the better record in the Carabao cup: they've won it four times with Pep Guardiola in charge while Arsenal have only won it twice, most recently in 1993.

The Carabao Cup final takes place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday and the broadcast rights in the UK are held by Sky Sports and ITV, with different broadcasters and streamers getting the rights to the game in other countries.

Here's where you can catch the Carabao Cup live, and how early you'll need to get up or how late you'll need to stay up if you're outside the US and want to watch it as it happens.

How to watch Carabao Cup final for free

ITV is streaming the Carabao Cup final for free in the UK, but if you're currently travelling you may find yourself locked out of your usual stream. That's because these services geo-block their content to other regions, but there's a way around it.

A VPN can help you unlock your usual streams as if you were sitting right at home, by making it look like you're viewing from your home country. NordVPN is our first choice, with a 30 day money back guarantee and a whole host of extra security features.

The official broadcast partner for the Carabao Cup in the US is CBS Sports Galazo, which you can stream online through Paramount Plus. You'll need the Premium plan for live CBS streaming, and while that's normally $13.99 a month there's currently a new customer deal that'll give you the first two months for just $2.99 per month.

The Carabao Cup final starts at 4.30pm UK time on Sunday 22 March. That's 8.30am PT, 10.30am Central and 11.30am ET.

UK football fans are spoilt for choice here. The Caraboa Cup final will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and on ITV too, and if you want to watch online the best free option is the ITV X app.

The final starts at 4.30pm on Sunday but of course there will be tons of pre-game analysis and chat on Sky and on ITV beforehand.

Time zones mean that Australian viewers will be tuning in on Monday 23 March, not Sunday 22 March: the UK 4.30pm kick-off time translates to 3.30am AEDT / 5.30am NZDT on the Monday morning.

The exclusive rights to stream the Carabao Cup to Australia belong to beIN SPORTS, which is available as a stand-alone streamer in your browser or via the beIN SPORTS CONNECT app, via a Fetch TV box or as a subscription added to your Prime Video package.

The beIN SPORTS CONNECT app is $14.99 per month in Australia for a flexible, cancel-anytime plan and there's a 7-day free trial.

Why is the English Football League Cup called the Carabao Cup, and who is Carabao?

The English Football League Cup has been sponsored by the drinks brand Carabao since 2017. Carabao is the title sponsor so it gets to name the competition.

Carabao is a big investor in UK football and invests in smaller clubs in England, Wales and Scotland as well as the Carabao Cup.

We're rounding up all the current ESPN Plus prices as well as the latest Peacock TV prices and Hulu free trials as well.
