Once you've waded through all the menus and red tape, you can finally get to business: slapping evil overlords around and freeing the human race from their oppression. To keep the battles in a state of flux, the color-coded geo panel system from the first game returns with a couple of updates. Geo panels create tiny pockets of stat-altering grids that affect nearby units. For example, some panels give anything near them stronger attacks, more experience points or sheer invincibility.
Now imagine if the panels could stand up and walk around. Well, now they can. Geo monsters emit the same reality-warping effects as the panels, but happen to have a horrible temper. We're not sure if they gnash around at random or gun straight for your guys, but having yet another variable on this already-crowded battlefield can only make the duels more chaotic.
