If you’re aged 13-16 years old and are female, you might just have a shot at sharing some screen time with the world’s most famous wizard.

Warner Bros are holding an open casting in London on Saturday 14 January for the part of Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix.

“Luna's very otherworldly,” says Fiona Weir, Potter Casting Director. “She's not like anybody else. She's almost an outsider who likes to watch people and she's slightly detached from the world. And she's a very interesting and unusual girl so it's that sort of quality we're looking for.

The latest Potter flick is under the watchful gaze of TV helmer David Yates and is slated for a 2007 summer release.

“We have met lots of fantastic girls,” Weir continues, “but holding an open call is just a way of us making sure there isn't anyone we might have missed. No final decisions have been made.”
