Queen, Weezer, and Wolfmother bring Guitar Hero Live up to 54 confirmed tracks

Update: The fourth week of Guitar Hero Live track updates is here, and it includes another eclectic sampling of artists from Queen to Wolfmother to Weezer. There should be enough to appeal to a range of tastes here, even if it does mean the running total of 54 confirmed tracks is a bit all over the place.

Activision says Guitar Hero Live will include hundreds of songs "playable on day one," spanning both the titular Live single-player mode and the online-connected, MTV-style Guitar Hero TV.

Queen - "Tie Your Mother Down"
Alice In Chains - "Stone"
Bullet For My Valentine - "Temper Temper"
Deap Vally - "Lies"
Wolfmother - "Sundial"
Weezer - "Buddy Holly"
Angus & Julia Stone - "A Heartbreak"
Catfish and the Bottlemen - "Kathleen"
Neon Trees - "Everybody Talks"
New Politics - "Harlem"

Well, if Guitar Hero Live is aiming for the music video channel aesthetic, its set list confirms that it's chosen to emulate mid-period MTV (you know, when they still played music, but abandoned any kind of focus).
