So what kind of game can fans of the comic book series, The Darkness, expect? Just take a peek at this newly released trailer from 2K Games that showcases scenes and gameplay from the Otherworld as well as later levels in the upcoming game.

Enter into the belly of the beast - the dark, dystopian life of mafia hitman Jackie Estacado. Anyone who doubts whether or not the game could live up to the comic book standards need only to look at the quick scene where a hole is carved into some poor soul's head.  Any more questions?

Note to the faint of heart: shield those eyes, scamper under the bed, or just jump out of your window, because The Darkness  is coming soon...
