SPOnG writes: "Konami has confirmed that a PC version of Silent Hill: Homecoming will be released alongside the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.
Dark Zero writes: "Konami may have previously announced that Silent Hill: Homecoming would be coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC in late September, but it seems new plans are afoot, as at Leipzig it has been announced that game will now be shipping in November. It is unknown what excatly has caused this delay, but it seems the game needs that extra bit of polishing that only extra dev time can bring.
IGN writes: "Horror fans have been anticipating their chance to return to the streets of Silent Hill for a while now. At the German Games Convention in Leipzig, Konami announced that the latest title within the franchise will be spreading its horror roots from the console to take over a new arena of gaming. Coming this November, PC gamers will be able to take a trip to the haunted city, as Silent Hill Homecoming will be released on computers everywhere."

Silenthill5.net has now officially announced a box art contest for the upcoming Silent Hill Homecoming. What once started as a forum thread has not evolved into a official contest. Members of Silenthill5.net have already submitted some incredible if not disturbing custom arts.
Konami issued a press release today to detail their Leipzig Games Convention line-up. Set for August 20th-24th, Konami plans to show off already announced games like Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 and Silent Hill Homecoming. They also plan to "use the event to unveil a selection of new, unannounced titles for the first time."

The latest issue of German magazine Man!ac also has an Silent Hill: Homecoming exclusive, a 9 minute long video presentation on the history of the Silent Hill franchise and brand new gameplay of Silent Hill: Homecoming.
Konami has released a bunch of new screenshots from the Silent Hill: Homecoming, scheduled for release on Xbox 360 and PS3 in September. They aren't exactly scaring us silly.
