During the Microsoft keynote at the 2008 Game Developers Conference, Tecmo's Master of Team Ninja Tomonobu Itagaki revealed a never-before-seen level of Ninja Gaiden II known as the Temple of Sacrifice, "running on real hardware," which he proceeded to demonstrate for those in attendance.
Ninja Gaiden and Team NINJA fans might remember the much-discussed 'Ask Itagaki' column that ran in now-defunct Ziff magazine Xbox Nation, in which Dead or Alive creator Tomonobu Itagaki would field reader questions about romance, gambling, games, booze and more. Unfortunately, when XBN died, so too did the column. But 1UP has good news.

Tomonobu Itagaki discusses the latest details on his upcoming game Ninja Gaiden 2 in Temco Team Ninja's blogspot on IGN.
Responding to rumors spurred by the latest of Electronic Gaming Monthly that listed Tecmo's Ninja Gaiden II for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, an editor for EGM cleared up any confusion.
Geekpulp has posted "EGM have for some bizarre reason published their latest magazine with a rumour or typo that Ninja Gaiden 2 will be on both the Xbox 360 and PS3. This would be a small victory for the PS3 if it were true but it is not. Ninja Gaiden 2 is being published by Microsoft Games Studios, this means that they will decide what happens. The last time I checked Microsoft do not want their competition to have access to their anticipated exclusives. So if the PS3 were to see another Ninja Gaiden game it would be in the vein of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, a long time after the original release. Sorry PS3Fanboys, it's not going to happen. As a symbolic and graphic representation let this picture demonstrate the status of this rumour. The semi official word from Microsoft is past the break."

Jin Saotome's two latest creations are action figures based on Half-Life's Gordon Freeman (from the Half-Life series) and the 8-bit Bionic Commando. He built these two using G.I. Joe Sigma Six figures, but the results look almost worthy of retail. Freeman and the Commando even come with their signature crowbar and grappling arm, respectively. They are now up for auction on eBay via the Gaming Today link below (news.filefront.com).
