For the past two months, the best gamers in the United States and Canada have been competing in intense online matches of 2K Sports' NHL 2K8 for a chance to win a spot and showcase their skills in the NHL 2K8 All-Star Tournament championships in Atlanta, Georgia, during NHL All-Star Weekend on January 26-27, 2008.
With this year's hockey season underway, and their video game counterparts hitting stores shelves, 2K Sports has announced the soundtrack to accompany NHL 2K8. Each song was chosen to "reflect the spirit of the sport and the enthusiasm of its fans".

Xbox Evolved has posted some highlights with a conference call they recently did with the developers at 2KSports on NHL2K8.
2K Games and 2K Sports have just revealed their lineup for the show, and according to Kotaku, the Games folks definitely have the edge here. They'll be showing the intriguing new shooter from Gearbox, Borderlands, as well as Sid Meier's Civilization Revolution, the first Civ game created solely for consoles and handhelds. The Sports team will be showing off Top Spin 3, NBA 2K8 and NHL 2k8.
