This trailer for smash-happy racer FlatOut Ultimate Carnage is so pleasing to watch we didn't want it to end - always a good sign. It's not just the brilliant crashes or promisingly varied course styles, it's the ludicrously funny rag-doll driver catapulting and the Demolition Derby-esque mashfests that have us hungry for more hands-on time.

It might not look quite as super-polished as Criterion's Burnout, but there's always room in our hearts for FlatOut's darkly amusing action and high-speed shunts. Point your eyes down for the vid.
