In an apparently overlooked tidbit from a GDC panel earlier this week, Fallout 3 lead designer Emil Pagliarulo revealed that the team at Bethesda is hard at work on more downloadable content for the post-apocalyptic action-RPG.
Bethesda's next-gen action RPG Fallout 3 has claimed the coveted GDC 09 Game of the Year Award at this year's event, though it was LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule that emerged as the ceremony's main benefactor, scooping four accolades.

the latest Fallout 3 patch isn't just preparation code for the upcoming DLC… one of the small issues with the launch 360 game has been addressed: the specular maps are back. Perhaps the omission was simply a bug? Or perhaps not, because while the effect has been replaced in the more obvious locations, elsewhere it is still absent. But regardless, it's an obviously welcome addition for 360 owners, and we presume that the upcoming DLC will be looking as good as it can possibly be.

Bethesda has released a new update for Fallout 3.
