This is why CD Projekt Red is amazing. STILL my most anticipated game currently announced right now.

I love the witcher series and the books are phenomenal. It looks like Geralt put on a few, but overall it looks amazing. And open world? Hell to the yes.

Holy fucking shit that trailer was amazing, I can't wait for this. This is definitely my most anticipated game at this very moment.

I can't wait for this game. All before part was great so I hope this one will be the best.

Definitely hoping there's a "recreate your save state" system, like the recent Bioware games (but with the ability to drill deep enough to decide EVERYTHING because god damn it, I couldn't believe the rachni thing didn't have a switch in ME3). I barely have any PCs good enough for 2, so I'll definitely be switching to PS4 for three and that means imports are screwed.

I just got my closed beta key for The Witcher 3. Thank you so much http://witcher3beta.blogspot.com/

Wait wait wait, I played Witcher 2 on Xbox 360, but have decided on getting a PS4 as my next console of choice.... I assume there's no way my save data can be transferred?

Maybe they could do something similar to what ME:2 did for carrying choices over, like an interactive comic or something.

Really looking forward to what becomes of Saskia after the events of Iorveth's path through TW2.

I wonder how relationships will work in the third game? The second game was more graphic.

I'm just glad Geralt's finally manned up and grown a beard. About bloody time, White Wolf!

I would like a simpler, speedier inventory for use on consoles. Its a tad cluttered and confusing using the inventory and crafting screens in the witcher 2, but im not that far into the game so should understand it more as i play.

You mean I'm like the only person who used the potions? I used them all the time, it made a difference for me at least. Same with bombs and thrown weapons, crafted stuff etc.

Tiny mistake, page 9. "You're" instead of "Your". :) Other than that, fantastic article. I cannot wait for Witcher 3, as I loved the previous game. Unfortunately, looks like i'll need a GPU upgrade sometime soon.

This pretty much sums it up: http://www.explosm.net/comics/3142/

I cannot wait for this game. I loved the second game and I can hopefully wait for the third while I figure out what console I am going to buy. The Witcher left me stunned at the graphics, combat styles and the amazing story. I can definitely agree with the fact that I hardly ever used potions since it was too annoying putting them on every minute or so and that making items was eh. I would have been nice to have some cooler looking armor and whatnot along with the desire to upgrade yourself since the mutations could not be undone.

I don't know what to feel about this. I recently installed The Witcher 2 on my computer, but gave up after 4 hours of playing due to the games poor optimization, and incapability of playing without stuttering on even the lowest setting (which makes it look worse than most of the games from the last 4 years that I can run just fine, Crysis runs better on my computer than it). It's not horribly game-breaking, but it definitely puts me at a major disadvantage in every encounter. Will try it again when I have more horse power, or when they patch it with better optimization.
