Vice City Stories on the way?

Rockstar's future Grand Theft Auto games are still shrouded in rumor, but a hint at their upcoming plans cropped up on March 21. This might seem like a solid lead on the next GTA project, but it's possible that Rockstar is just acting preemptively to protect its brands from trademark infringement. The company also has a history of changing its mind and throwing up smoke screens - some readers might remember thatit registered GTA: Sin City, GTA: Bogota and GTA: Tokyo before the release of San Andreas - so hold off on those pre-orders for now.

Reached for comment, the company's official response was "Rockstar does not comment on rumors and speculation."
