Namco Bandai recently announced that a Tekken 6 fighter will make an appearance in Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 as an unlockable character. The new fighter in question is Lars Alexandersson, who will be playable in the game’s versus mode.
Lars’ new costume has been designed by Naruto creator Masashi Kishimoto. Check out the comparison shot below. It doesn’t look like his costume has been dramatically altered, although Lars is definitely looking more Sasuke-like with softer lines and a more effeminate build.

Above: It’s nice to hear about Lars, but we’d much rather see Rock Lee fight an anime-styled Lei or Yoshimitsu
We’re a little burnt out by Namco’s steady barrage of Naruto-themed fighting games. But as Naruto fans, we’ve always loved the way the Namco games have always managed to capture the look and feel of the anime. Check out the latest trailer featuring some memorable moments from the Shippuden series and look out for more Naruto news when Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 releases this fall.
