Pokemon jack-o'-lanterns are delightfully festive works of art

With Halloween just over a week away, why not take a minute to bask in the glow of the most awesome Pokemon-themed jack-o'-lantern collections the internet has ever known. Deviantartist joh-wee works fiery magic with her pumpkin (and watermelon!) carving skills, as evidenced by her eight page jack-o'lantern gallery.

We were initially drawn to her amazing Pokemon-themed designs, but she has a ton of other videogame related carvings too, including some amazing Zelda, Mario and Phoenix Wright tributes. See all her creations on joh-wee's jack-o'-lantern gallery.

Hey Carolyn! You found these at Are you a fan, or were you just browsing idly?

These pictures make me sad that I am jackolantern-illiterate. Guess its just another generic face with triangle eyes again this year.

Best I've ever done was a winking Vault-Tec mascots head with a hand next to it holding up three fingers. It was cool, but compared to these I might as well have just put a candle in a pile of crap.

Holy crap, that's one major talent. If you check her page she's made a TONNN more pokemon ones, and a lot of them on WATERMELONS. How the crap do you even carve a watermelon? I have no idea, but they look AMAZING.

God these are so amazing! The person who made these needs to make a tutorial on pumpkin carving. I would pay so much for one of them, particularly the "OBJECTION" one. (btw thanks for the shoutout on twitter)

I've seen a lot of these around the nets lately, and even more by others following suit. They're fantastic. I wish I was talented enough to do one.

Wow that Charizard one is amazing.
