If you've been stalking Rockstar's website for the GTA V trailer today, you may have also noticed the studio posted four new screenshots for Max Payne 3. Then again, it's very possible you didn't really notice anything beyond that big 'V' symbol, in which case we highly recommend you give your GTA-obsessed brain a break and check out a sneak preview of Rockstar's other anxiously awaited sequel.
Max Payne 3 brings Mr. Payne to Sao Paulo, Brazil, where his new gigas a private security guard for the rich Branco family takes a predicatable turn for the worse and he is forced to return to his old gun-toting, slow-mo diving, face-grimacing ways. As in previous Max Payne games—the last being 2003's Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne—players will be able to enter bullet-time as a means to slow down the action and take down opponents in exacting and stylish ways. We assume that's what's happening in half of these new images below, but without the benefit of motion, it just looks like Max has a thing against touching the ground. Have a look:
