David, you're definitely my favorite editor. Inbetween all those silly iPhone-game-of-the-day nonsense, it's really a relief to see that at least some people take the medium seriously. I'm a hardcore supporter of the "games are art" movement all the way and it's always so comforting to see other people express such an enthusiasm for artistic games.

SOMEONE... COUGH COUGH DAVID... IS BEING PAID OFF FOR THIS ARTICLE. Haha, just kidding. This game looks really good, I just hope that it has a decent length. The story doesn't matter, though, I'm just going to mute the game and blast the Mortal Kombat "Kano (Use Your Might)" song over it while screaming 'lalalala' (another joke). Do want.

Ah. Well I mean, I don't replay games that much, but I could see myself playing this over and over again, kind of like the Just Cause 2 demo.

I didn't realise it was coming out so early I can't wait. I may take your advice and play in total darkness on Wednesday night.

    no ps3 release?! why?!
  • GR_DavidHoughton - July 19, 2010 4 p.m.

It'll vary depending on how often you get stuck on puzzles and for how long. I finished it in about 4 - 5 hours. But be warned, once it absorbs you, you will not leave it for anything.

Of COURSE I'm gonna get it. As a platform fanboy I only needed to look at some fucking gameplay to realise how amazing Limbo looks. My only worry is, how long is it storywise? I on't even care if it's like 3 hours long, Imma get it anyway.

  • Turboash - July 19, 2010 2:48 p.m.

Looks fantastic... which saddens me as a PS3 owner.

The fear of the unknown. Just seeing silhouettes and not knowing what it really is allows your mind to create something that is truly terrifying because you know it isn't real but you believe it anyway.
