Heavy Rain: Director's Cut edition dated for Nov 8

Sony has released details of the Special Edition of Heavy Rain that'll be showing up in stores on November 8. True to the game's cinematic aspirations, Heavy Rain: Director's Cut will include the sort of things commonly found on similarly-branded movie DVDs (extra content, plenty of making-of content). Developer Quantic Dream has also found time to include a generous amount of content that miserly movie retailers would happily charge extra for.

The Director's Cut of Heavy Rain, priced at $29.99, goes on sale Nov 8. It will contain the original game plus the Move support update. The DLC prequel, The Taxidermist, is included, as well as the game's 16-track original soundtrack. Included for your eyes are additional trailers, concept art and 8 behind-the-scenes videos. The pack also includes three dynamic themes; a fourth will be available for free PSN download come Nov 8, allowing you to preview what immaculate design sensibilities Heavy Rain could be bringing to your console if you'd only let it.

Pretty good game. The story could really have used some tightening up but it was something new and fun. I'm wondering if the Taxidermist DLC is worth buying.

Is it going to fill in those gaping plot holes? I like the premise of the game and fond it quite enjoyable, but some of those plot holes..come on

Good deal if you've never picked it up and want to try something new. I personally loved it.

Too bad the game sucks giant naked poorly animated ballz. I have such contempt for David Cage.

The game was actually good... It was an interactive movie / novel. You may think it sucked but it got many good reviews

the game is good, the story sucks. David Cage is a sh*tty director/writer. him not realizing that fact will cost quantic dream dearly someday.

I think he's a pretty good director; he's just a horrible writer. He's like the M. Night Shyamalan of gaming.

Wow glad I waited on this one. Looks like I will wait even longer to pick this up for $20 in the bargain bin.
