Harrison Ford is not looking forward to the Han Solo movie because it'll be "weird" for him

It must be bad enough watching your younger self in a school play, but imagine how Harrison Ford is feeling. He’s got to watch a younger version of his fictional self as Alden Ehrenreich plays the iconic smuggler in the Han Solo movie. Talk about weird. But is he looking forward to it? Uhh, no, shockingly.

Speaking in an interview during last week’s Star Wars Celebration (which, if you missed out on all the fun, catch up here), Harrison Ford was asked whether he’s looking forward to watching the Han Solo movie and he shot back, without missing a beat: “Not really.”

You can see from the interview that Ford was being a bit tongue-in-cheek but he followed it up by saying “Of course I’ll be watching it as a fan, but it will be weird… it’ll be a little weird.”

And as for the fresh-faced Alden Ehrenreich who will be holstering the blaster instead of Harrison Ford? He’s given him a big thumbs-up: “I’ve met the fella [Ehrenreich] who’s gonna play the younger Han Solo. Wonderful guy, very sweet, and a very good actor. So I’m delighted in the choice.”
