Grand Theft Auto V pre-order location shots, posters revealed

Pre-order promo items leaked early by retailers

The flood gates are opening on GTA 5 information, and the latest juicy details are coming from... Little View-Master things? Yep, special viewers which display screenshots of Los Santos' diverse geography for early pre-orderers have leaked online, as well as word of an impending new trailer.

The limited-edition trinkets (assembled by GTA Forums users) each show one of five areas: Del Perro Pier, rural Grapeseed, urban Vespucci Canals, ritzy Vinewood Hills, and the mountainous wilderness of the Zancudo River.

On top of the regional viewers, some pre-orderers will receive a double sided poster with new art for the game, and Game Informer has graciously provided high-res images. The posters depict a female police officer busting an affluent woman (female beat cops would be a first for the franchise) and a bat-toting man with one mean-looking Rottweiler. Take a gander at all the new eye candy in the gallery below.

A Rockstar letter which was said to accompany the pre-order materials for retailers also hinted that a new trailer for GTA V will drop very soon.

UPDATE: Rockstar commented on its Newswire that progress on the trailer has been delayed by Hurricane Sandy. Rockstar's New York offices are in an area of Manhattan which remains without power since the storm swept through.

The new GTA looks great! I can't wait to get it! My most favorite part is the guns. I actually just got a AK47 from like in the game from here http://www.airsplat.com/airsoft-video-games.htm and I love it! They also have a bunch of other guns from all the FPS games too!

the 2 new art shot kinda show off a 2 sided story, they give the feeling of high life gone bad and the less fortunate ghettos. If these are any indication then the story and environments will show off a realistic view of Los Santos. I hope the story is a cross of GTA 4's Ballad missions and San Andreas urban black culture. I just cant wait till Spring, hopefully early spring!
